Riverlands comes back, defeats Hill Heights

Going into the relay events in Monday night’s Riverlands-Hill Heights matchup, the score was a virtual dead heat. Hill Heights led 207-206, after clinging to a slim lead for most of the night.
But the Stingrays showed the strength of its relay swimmers, and captured each of the medley and free relay events by a score of 49 to 21. It propelled Riverlands to a 304-249 victory.
Andre St. Martin finished first in three events, while Cameron Torres, Albert Hane, and Lauren Smith took first place in two events each.
Kyle Wilking, Emily St. Martin, Ashley Wilking, Macie Waguespack, Allison Young, Kelsey Richoux, Jack Young, and Shana Breaux rounded out the first place winners.
Riverlands slowly chipped away at a 10 point Hill Heights lead after the freestyle events, 59-49; It was 110-106 after the backstroke; 163-160 after the breaststroke; and 207-206 after the butterfly.
