Wallace (Lefty) (Boogie) Rainey Sr., of Boutte, La. Was called home on Saturday, Jan. 27, 2007 at the age of 66 years. Son of the late Silas and Someria Washington Rainey, Sr. Beloved husband of Cynthia C. Rainey. Father of Wallace Jr. (Tammara), and Chelita Rainey. Grandfather of Jiles Rainey. Godfather of Vanessa Rainey and Rainie Vinnett. Brother of Catherine Johnson, Rosalie (Arthur) Allen, of New Orleans, Gloria Jean (Felmon) Bethancourt of Edgard, Brenda (Morgan) Burke, Dianne Vinnett. Patricia Montgomery of LaPlace, Silas Jr. (late Esther Lee) of Baton Rouge. Arthur Lance (Barbara) Rainey of Edgard. Lester (Betty) Rainey, Sr. of Hahnville, and the late Paul Rainey. Brother in law of Anna (Weldon) Collette of New Orleans, Michael (Debra) Chaney of Edgard, Doris Chaney of Marrero. Son in law of the late Norman and Josie J. Chaney Sr. Also survived by a host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. A native of Edgard, La., and a resident of Boutte, La. A former employee of A & P Tea Co. Relatives and friends of the family, also pastor, officers, and members of the Greater Woodville B.C., Wallace, La., New Jerusalem B.C., Historical Bethlemem B.C. and neighboring churches, employees of Securitas Security, A&P Tea Co., are invited to attend the funeral services on Thursday, Feb. 1, 2007 at 11 a.m. from the Greater Woodville B.C. W. 9th St. Wallace, La. Rev. Marc Nelson officiating. Interment Mt. Airy Memorial Park Cemetery, Boutte, La. Visitation is at the church after 9 a.m.

Mildred Keller Robichaux on Tuesday, January 23, 2007 at 10:24 p.m. in LaPlace, La. Wife of the Albert Antoine Robichaux. Daughter of the late William Keller and Louise Duhe Keller. Mother of Jane Granier of Gonzales, La., Susan Robichaux of Loranger, La., Paul Robichaux of Destrehan, La., David Robichaux and husband David Kohn of Boston, Ma. Daughter-in-law Claudette Robichaux of Norco and the late Gerald Robichaux. Sister of David Keller and wife Dorothy and Roland Keller. Also survived by 14 grandchildren and 38 great grandchildren. Age 87 years. A native of Montz, La., and a resident of Destrehan, La. Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30 a.m. on Friday at Sacred Heart Catholic Church in Norco, La. Interment in St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum, Destrehan, La. Visitation at Alexander Funeral Home in Norco, La., from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Friday, January 28, 2007. Brother of the late Eugene Young, Otha Dandy, Evelyn Morton, Manitia Chrisper, Zelda Parks and Audra Adkins. A U.S. Army Veteran who received the Good Conduct Medal, Purple Heart Medal, G O 25 Hq AD 45 European- African- Middle Eastern Theater Ribbon w/ 1 Silver Battle Star and 5 Overseas Service Bars. Age 84 years. A native of Weldon, IL and former resident of New Sarpy, La., and was a current resident of Norco, La., for the past 33 years. Graveside Service at St. Joseph Mausoleum, Thibodaux, La., on Monday January 29, 2007 at 12 noon. Visitation at Alexander Funeral Home, Norco, La., from 9 a.m. until 11 a.m. on Monday.
