East St. John graduate Jason J. Jones recently signed a latter of intent with Idaho State University to attend the school and play football.

Jones, a highly recruited defensivetackle, attended Chabot Jr. College in Hayward, California last year, where he was named a to the California Junior College All-Conference First Team.

Jones, who is also a former student at Our Lady of Grace, is signing on for a full, all-expenses paid scholarship after visiting several other schools.

He is the son or Mr. and Mrs. Isiah Jones.
