Connor DeJean, a kindergarten student at St. Charles Borromeo School in Destrehan, rides on his “New Orleans Saints” float for the school’s Krewe of Kritters parade. Students decorated their own floats and threw beads and trinkets to the crowd of students, parents and grandparents. The St. Charles Borromeo cheerleaders led the parade and the pre-kindergarten students made up the marching band. The eighth grade was represented by queen Aubrey Morales and class representative Austyn Hattier.  The parade’s king was kindergartener, Robert Colomb.
