Stanislaus J. “Bubby” St. Pierre, 76, of Seminole, Fla., died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at Largo Medical Center.

Born in Lucy, he moved to Seminole in 2001 from Reserve. He was a United States Coast Guard veteran, having served aboard the USS Escanaba. He retired from Kaiser Aluminum after 29 years of service.

He was Roman Catholic and a member of St. Justin Martyr. He was very active with American Legion Post 252, serving as their Chaplain. He was preceded in death by parents, Albin and Lelia St. Pierre, and daughter, Derrel St. Pierre.

He is survived by his wife, Saundra “Pye” St. Pierre, daughter, Kelly St. Pierre, son and daughter-in-law, Cord and Sandra St. Pierre, son, Sean St. Pierre of St. Amant, five grandchildren, two great-grandsons, two brothers and one sister.

A mass will be celebrated at St. Peter’s Church in Reserve on Saturday, Nov. 28, at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. John Memorial Gardens, LaPlace.
