Harry Hurst Middle recognize eighth-grader Lisa Dempsey as the 2010 HMS Student of the Year. Dempsey was chosen for her commitment to academics, school involvement and community awareness. Dempsey is the daughter of Terry and Glen Dempsey of Destrehan.
