Dr. James Stafford is participating in a campaign to raise funds for local and national children’s charities. He is offering to do professional teeth whitening during the next three to four months in exchange for the patients’ personal donation to the Smiles for Life Foundation. The requested donation is substantially less than the standard fee for this service. Half of the funds will go to Bayouland Families Helping Families, which is a resource center for individuals and families of children with disabilities or special needs in the local area and the remainder to national children’s charities through the Garth Brooks Teammates for Kids Foundation. The Teammates for Kids Foundation is an organization that contributes financial resources to selected non-profit organizations that effectively serve and benefit children with an emphasis on health, education and inner city services. The teeth whitening is quick and painless with excellent results.
This is part of an annual campaign organized by the Crown Council, an association of several dentists throughout North America of which Stafford is a member. Their charity organization, the Smiles for Life Foundation, has raised more than $27 million dollars since it was organized in 1998. The funds have benefited nearly 500 charities.
