LAPLACE – March is a time of madness for many reasons in south Louisiana, but for the rest of the nation, March Madness, of course, refers to the annual college basketball tournament.

L’Observateur will once again feature a contest this year based on the popular sports happenings.

Taking part in the contest is easy, but entry time is short. Just look for the bracket in Wednesday’s edition of L’Observateur and fill it in with your predictions for this year’s tournament. The entry with the most correct predictions will win $100.

What could be easier? Just make sure you get your entry to L’Observateur by Friday, March 18, at 5 p.m. or make sure your entry is postmarked by that time to be eligible.
