LAPLACE — LaPlace resident Jordan Dorsey continues his quest to be the next American Idol tonight as live performances featuring the top 12 male competitors.

Dorsey has consistently gotten positive feedback from the panel of judges and there is much speculation that he is one of the favorites to go deep into the competition.

Tune tonight, starting at 7 p.m. and look for Dorsey’s performance, along with the number to call to vote him on to the next round. We will post Dorsey’s number on L’Observateur’s Facebook page as soon as it is known. Voting begins at the end of tonight’s telecast. American Idol airs on WVUE-TV Fox 8 in the New Orleans area.
