Octave “T-Boy” Roussel Jr., 76, passed away on Tuesday, March 22, 2011, at his residence. He was retired from Shell Chemical.

He is survived by his children: Vanessa A. Roussel, Jan R. Nelson (Brian), Gwendolyn T. Roussel, Faye Lynne Perez (Ventura Frank) and Keith M. Roussel (Julie); stepson: Aaron Lions (Bridget); three sisters: Janet Dornier, Ruth Minvielle and Nancy Stein; 10 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Elmer Ann Marie Hymel Roussel; parents, Octave Thomas Roussel Sr. and Ella Marie Boudreaux; one son, Chris T. Roussel Sr.; and five siblings: Whitney Roussel, Ethel Martin, Melvin “Tag” Roussel, Helen Newman, Idola Hoover and Emily Thoms.

Visitation and services were held on Saturday, March 26, 2011, at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Norco. Entombment followed at St. Charles Borromeo Mausoleum in Destrehan.
