LAPLACE – What better way to celebrate National Pancake Day than with a free helping of pancakes courtesy of the LaPlace IHOP restaurant.

On Tuesday, March 1, the LaPlace location at 214 Belle Terre Blvd. will be among several IHOP restaurants in the area offering a free short stack of pancakes to all customers between 7 a.m. and 10 p.m.

In exchange for the free breakfast, IHOP is asking diners to leave a little something behind for the benefit of Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals. All proceeds from the New Orleans-area restaurants, which includes LaPlace, will go toward New Orleans Children’s Hospital.

The New Orleans area stores are aiming for $100,000 in donations to benefit Children’s Hospital.
