On Friday, May 27, the public is invited to attend the 13th annual Get High on Life Memorial Day Breakfast at 8 a.m., at the KC Home at 346 Fir Street in LaPlace.

We will pay tribute to the men and women who served our country and defended the many freedoms that we enjoy. Special emphasis will be placed on remembering those who gave their lives while fighting to keep our country free.

All members of the VFW, the American Legion and, also, the public are invited to attend with their families.
