LaPlace – Robbie the Robot tooted his sirens while helping officer Cindy Faucheaux teach the students all about safety. Students learned about different signs like stop signs, crosswalk signs and railroad signs. They also learned about playground safety, what to do if they get lost while shopping with parents, to always wear a helmet when riding a bike, to look both ways when crossing the street and to never talk to strangers.

The students had fun singing songs with Robbie the Robot, and they made a pledge to always be safe and honest, to follow school rules, to obey parents and teachers and to be polite and nice to their friends.
