Career Compass of Louisiana spring luncheon and awards

Career Compass of Louisiana, a non-profit organization that provides career and college coaching services to high school seniors across the state, held its annual Spring Luncheon and Scholarship Awards at Boudreaux’s in Baton Rouge.  

During the luncheon, $100,000 in scholarships was awarded from The Boo Grigsby Foundation on behalf of Career Compass. Eighteen high school seniors from East Baton Rouge, Iberville, West Baton Rouge, Ascension, Assumption, St. John the Baptist, St. James, Pointe Coupee and St. Mary Parishes were honored.  The local recipients included: Bianca Cook – East St. John High, Dashera Gros – West St. John, D’Ara Pillette – St. James High and Javon Thompson – Donaldsonville High.
