MONTEGUT

Minnette Millet Montegut, 83, passed away on Monday, May 21, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Criswell R. Montegut, mother of Dr. Christy (Linda), Joseph Oswald (Ozzie), Leo, Dr. Walton and Roy (Jan) Montegut, grandmother of Jason Montegut (Renae), Amanda M. Bourgeois (Todd), Dr. Christian Montegut (Dr. Shelly), Frances Minnette (Frannie) and Nicholas Montegut, great-grandmother of Linda Rose and Emma Lily Bourgeois and Colin Lyle Montegut, daughter of the late Leo and Odette Alexander Millet, sister of Barbara M. Millet, Carol M.Vicknair, Gwen M. Lemonier, Roland, Lyle, David and Jean Millet and the late Leo Millet, Jacqueline M. Kern and Dorothy Millet and close friend of Mary (Deekie) Duhe.

She will be greatly missed by family, friends and her beloved pets Oui Oui and Pups. She loved Mardi Gras and was an avid Saints fan and a member of the St. John Parish Planning and Zoning Committee for many years.

She was a native of Garyville and a resident of LaPlace for 61 yrs.

Visitation and services were held at St. Joan of Arc Catholic Church in LaPlace on Thursday, May 24, 2012. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve. Arrangements  were by Millet-Guidry Funeral Home of LaPlace.഍
