Fifty members from River Parishes Hospital’s Senior Friends Program recently enjoyed a chartered bus trip to eat at the Dinner Bell Restaurant in McComb, Miss. and tour the McComb Railroad Museum. Afterwards, members stopped at the Taste of Bavaria Bakery in Pontchatoula to purchase breads and pastries.

The chartered bus trips are just a few of the many activities available to seniors through the hospital’s Senior Friends Program. Members also receive discounts in the hospital cafeteria and gift shop, in the Fit At 50 exercise classes, and at several local businesses in the river parishes area. In addition, members receive valuable health, wellness and travel discounts through the National Association of Senior Friends.
