LUTCHER — Another week. Another win.

Lutcher made short work of host Istrouma Friday night, besting the Indians 42-0 behind a spectacular effort by Ruston Matherne.

Matherne accounted for six touchdowns — three passing, three rushing — as he led Lutcher to its fifth consecutive victory.

Matherne completed 18-of-27 passes for 178 yards and three touchdowns, while rushing seven times for 63 yards and three scores.

Torian Shorty ran eight times for 42 yards and Destin Porter ran four times for 40 yards.

Sully Martin hauled in seven passes from Matherne for 86 yards and a score. DeAmphrany Davis caught two scores from Matherne.

Istrouma quarterback Marquise Kaigler rushed 12 times for 48 yards. He completed just six of his 27 passes for 27 yards.
