Myrtle LaBranche Laiche, 89, passed away peacefully Friday, Oct. 26, 2012.

She was the beloved wife of the late Alcest Laiche and mother of Harriet Jones (the late Patrick), Zulma Loper (the late Gary), Mark Laiche (Beth) and Scott Laiche (Gidget). She is also survived by 11 grandchildren and numerous great-grandchildren.

She was the daughter of the late Louis and Zulma LaBranche, sister of Mildred Grisoli and the late Dorothy Vicknair, Ethyl Landeche and Murphy, Roland and Louis LaBranche Jr.

She was a native and resident of Montz.

Visitation and services were held at Millet-Guidry Funeral Home in LaPlace on Monday, Oct. 29, 2012. Burial followed in St. Peter Cemetery in Reserve.
