GARYVIILE – St. John the Baptist Parish deputies captured a Garyville man on Thursday after serving an arrest warrant for a narcotics investigation that began in September.
St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies served the judicial court ordered arrest warrant on Sidney Kilburn III, 62, of Historic West Street in Garyville late Thursday evening. Detectives were able to obtain the warrant for Killburn for cultivation of marijuana, possession of marijuana and two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia, based on the findings of a narcotics investigation detectives initiated on Sept. 13.
Kilburn was in possession of a hollow metal pipe, typically used for smoking crack cocaine, and a piece of crack cocaine at the time of his arrest. In addition to the warrant, Kilburn was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of schedule II CDS.
