LAPLACE – On Tuesday, Dec. 17, at 11:29 p.m., St. John the Baptist Parish Sheriff’s Office deputies responded to Historic East Street in Garyville for the report of a
male subject that was shot.
When deputies arrived on the scene, they found the
victim, a 25-year-old Garyville man. He was transported to University Hospital in New Orleans for treatment. No one else was injured.
