Thomas Keith “Bubba” DuBois, 44 and a resident of LaPlace, passed away unexpectedly on Nov. 10, 2013. He was born Nov. 16, 1968, to Huey and Sybil DuBois in Montgomery, La.
He was preceded in death by his father, Huey DuBois, a nephew, Angel Clements, and his grandparents.
Bubba was a proud Masonic member of the Curtis T. Hines Lodge No. 317 in Tioga, La. He will be dearly missed by his family and friends.
Those left to cherish his memory include his sons, Devin DuBois of LaPlace and Damian DuBois of Reserve; his spouse, Selena Horton of Montgomery; mother Sybil DuBois Matt and her husband Zana of LaPlace; sisters, Tasha DuBois of Reserve and Tina Sander and her husband Ronald of LaPlace; nephews, Darrin Sander and
his wife Stevie of Denham Springs, Ryan Sander and his fiance’ Jesseca of LaPlace and Hayden Clements of Reserve.
A service to honor his life was held on Nov. 14, 2013, at Union Hill Baptist Church near Verda, La., with Bro. Chuck LaCroix officiating. Interment with Masonic Rights followed at Montgomery Cemetery under the direction of Blanchard St. Denis Funeral Home in Natchitoches.
Those honored to serve as pallbearers included Devin DuBois, Damian DuBois, Darrin Sander, Ryan Sander, Hayden Clements, Ronald Sander, Alen “Junior” Coolman Jr. and Ronnie Gentry. Honorary pallbearers were Jerome Self and Robert Fredieu.
