Irvin J. Tregre

Irvin J. Tregre passed away peacefully surrounded by his family on Tuesday, Dec. 31, 2024 at the age of 88. He was born in Bayou Goula, La. and a resident of Reserve, La.

Former husband and life-long friend of Jeanette Tregre. Loving father of Irvin “Pa-Put” Tregre Jr., Penny Lambert (Douglas) and Kirt Tregre (Tricia). Grandfather of Brittany Lambert Albarado (Trent), Brennan Lambert, Tabitha Tregre (fiancé, Andrew) and Dane Waguespack. Great-grandfather of Luke Albarado, Wren Shirley and soon to be born Samuel Albarado. Son of the late Clothilde Chiquet Tregre and Wilfred F. Tregre Sr. Brother of Frances Torres (the late Lester) and the late Wifred F. Tregre Jr. He was survived by nieces, nephews and his God-children, Steven “Dukey” Tregre, Keith Torres and Cindy Songy Hynote and was preceded in death by his nephew, Kenneth “Noonie” Tregre.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at St. Peter Catholic Church, 1550 Hwy 44, Reserve on Saturday, Jan. 4, 2025. Visitation will be held at the church from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11 a.m. Interment in St. Peter Cemetery, Reserve, La.
