St. Charles Parish Announces Office Closures for New Year’s Celebrations

HAHNVILLE, LA – St. Charles Parish has officially announced the closure of all government offices in observance of the upcoming New Year holidays. Residents should note that these closures will take place on Friday, December 29, 2023, and Monday, January 1, 2024.

This temporary shutdown will include several key offices within the parish. The St. Charles Parish Clerk of Court’s Office will remain closed on both Monday and Tuesday, while the Assessor’s Office will only be closed on Monday.

In addition to these closures, the parish has also announced changes to the usual residential trash collection schedule. Notably, there will be no trash collection on New Year’s Day. Importantly, residents on the Monday/Thursday routes should be aware that there will not be a makeup collection day.
