Hahnville, LA – Effective Wednesday, December 6, 2023, traffic will not be able to enter or exit Lakewood Drive at Highway 90. The northbound lanes of Lakewood Drive will be closed, and two-way traffic will shift into the southbound lanes to maintain access to the St. Charles Parish Library.  

 The crossovers in the fork of Lakewood will remain closed during the lane shift. Residents needing to access the library and businesses in the area will enter Lakewood Drive from Birch Street and travel northbound. This work will continue for approximately 4 weeks, depending on holidays and weather.

 As a reminder, Lakewood Drive is only open for local traffic and all other residents should utilize the detour of Willowdale Blvd.
