LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish President Jaclyn Hotard and Council helped honor the members of the River Parishes Retired Senior & Volunteer (RSVP) Program during their annual luncheon and award ceremony at REGALA Gym. Last year, 474 volunteers logged more than 46,000 hours for an estimated savings of over $1.1 million.

Among the longest serving St. John Parish volunteers are Belinda Bailey, Daniel Cambre, Sharon Cambre, Suzette Goodrow, Kenneth Massett, Ivy Mathieu, Cynthia Monica, Vernadine Oubre, Beverly Pettigrew and Jacqueline Rousseve.
