Katherine “Kay” Marie Wallace Couty passed away on Saturday, August 12, 2023 at the age of 84. She was born in McComb, MS and a resident of LaPlace, LA.
Beloved wife of Joseph Cyril “Jack” Couty, Sr. Loving mother of Joseph C. “Jack” Couty, Jr.( The late Sharon and the late Mona) , Mark Gerard Couty (Sherri), Denton F. Couty (Vicki), and Cynthia C. “Cindy” Webre (the late Kevin). Grandmother of Ian Couty, Vicki Couty, Bonnie Bourgeois (Cliff), Kevin Webre, and Gary Webre. Great grandmother of 20. Great-great grandmother of one and one on the way. Daughter of the late Hubert Gerard Henry and Marie Natalie Austin Henry. Sister of Sheila Desporte (the late Edward) and Patricia Hart (the late Don). Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Relatives and friends are invited to attend the Visitation and Funeral Mass at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 2130 Rectory St., Paulina on Wednesday, August 16, 2023. Visitation at the church from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed by a Funeral Mass at 11:00 a.m. Interment in St. Joseph Cemetery, Paulina, LA.
