Founded on the principles of charitable love toward neighbors and the all-encompassing love of God, Krewe of Agape has formed lifelong friendships through more than four decades of Mardi Gras celebrations. The Carnival organization recently awarded scholarships to two local students pursuing higher education.
Yasmin Jami Moore is the daughter of the Mrs. Janiya Robinson and the late Gary Joseph. Yasmin will be attending Baylor University and majoring in biochemistry.

Reyondalin Smith is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Reynauldo Smith of LaPlace. Reyondalin will be attending The University of New Orleans and will major in human health performance/exercise science.
