This week marks the beginning of the playoffs for local high school basketball. The first of the games will be February 23 with the Division III select, which St. Charles Catholic is a part of. SCC, currently ranked #7, has earned a bye week and its first game will be on Tuesday, February 28. The Comets will take on the winner of the #10 Catholic N.I. vs. #23 Thomas Jefferson game.

Most of the teams will play on Friday, February 24.

Division I Non-select:

#12 Hahnville will host #21 Hammond.

#23 Destrehan will take on #10 Southside in an away game.

#15 East St. John hosts #18 Terrebonne.

Division II Non-select:

#15 Lutcher will host #19 Broadmoor.

Division III Non-select:

#25 St. James will play at #8 Ville Platt.

Division IV Select:

#18 Riverside Academy will play at #15 Central Private.

West St. John is ranked #29 in Division IV Non-select and the top 28 are competing.
