Franklin “Frank” Lee Smith a resident of LaPlace, LA passed away on Friday, January 13, 2023 at the age of 71.

Beloved husband of the late Jeannine Bercegeay Smith. Loving father of Danielle Zimmer (Dustin), Amber Stacy (Rob), and the late Brandi Smith. Grandfather of Brayden Zimmer Brooklyn Zimmer, Hailey Stacy, Jake Stacy, and Brandon. Son of the late Cleo Smith and Virginia Carender. Brother of Cleora Sue Galvez (David) , Melissa Smith-Powell (Reggie), Michael Smith (Debbie), and the late Richard Smith, Lori Thompson and George Smith. Survived by numerous nieces, nephews, and his childhood friends in California.

Frank loved riding his Harley Davidson bike, he took his bike all the way from Louisiana to Alaska in one trip, he would also often attend bike rallies, across the country including Sturgis and Gulf Coast Memorial Day Blowout. His favorite candy, Peanut M&M’s were never too far from his reach. He loved spending time with his family and especially his grandkids.

Friends and relatives are invited to the Visitation and Celebration of Life on Friday, January 20, 2023 at Rose Lynn Funeral Home. Visitation from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. followed immediately by a Celebration of Life at 11:00 a.m.
