Craig Martin passed away on Dec. 21 at North Oaks Hospital in Hammond La.  Craig was born on November 24, 1960 to Alcide (A.J.)and Jean Edler Martin in New Orleans, LA.  He was raised in Laplace until he moved to Ponchatoula in 2020 to be close to his sister and caregiver, Mona.  Craig is survived by his siblings, Romona (Mona)

Middlebrook (Wayne), Jody Becnel, and Eric Martin.  He is also survived by his nieces and nephews Hayden and Wesley Middlebrook, Donavon, Dustin, and Layla Becnel, and Cory Martin.

He is preceded in death by both parents, his grandparents, Lillian Lemoine Edler, Louis Edler, step grandfather, Lawrence (Butch) Edler, Alcide and Ada Bourg Martin.

Craig loved kids and was a child at heart.  He loved dogs, especially his beloved Prince. He loved meeting and talking to people, and always remembered their names. He will be missed by everyone who loved him and appreciated his difference.

Relatives and friends are invited to a visitation at Millet Guidry Funeral Home on 2806 W. Airline Hwy.in LaPlace on December 27th 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. followed by a Funeral Service at 12:00 p.m.  A private graveside service will be held at a later date.  Donations can be given to St. Judes Childrens Hospital in honor of Craig.
