EDGARD — The Lady Rams is still looking for their next win for the season to improve their record. However, Coach Shontrice Blanche is excited to see improvements from last year.
This season, the Lady Rams fell short to Berwick High School by two points. The Lady Rams were led by Charlize Rousseve, who left the game in the beginning of the fourth quarter with a knee injury. Charlize has been the leading scorer since her return to the Lady Rams.
Charlize said, “It feels great be on the court with my team. I feel like I’m right where I belong.”
Charlize’s work ethic to get back into basketball shape after two seasons of not playing due to injury is amazing. Charlize describes her work ethic as “being dedicated, passionate, and dependable. I leave everything on the court.”
The Lady Rams are getting ready for their double header against Lutcher on Friday, December 16, 2022. The middle school boys will play first, followed by JV boys, varsity girls and varsity boys.
