Louisiana State Representative Randal Gaines was a guest speaker during this month’s Martin Luther King Jr. celebration at the Westbank Community Center in Edgard.

The West Bank Civic Association held the annual march and rally — themed “Positive Changes Come About Through Positive Actions” — Jan. 19, beginning at noon at the Roland Borne Sr. Memorial Library and ending with a program at the West Bank Community Center.
