EDGARD — A New Orleans style brass band and spirited cheerleaders welcomed students back into the halls of West St. John High School in Edgard Monday morning to kick off the start of the 2022-23 school year in St. John the Baptist Parish.

The theme for the new school year is “Journey to Excellence.”
