Ascension of Our Lord students in third through sixth grades recently participated in the St. John Industrial Group Art Contest. Aimee Dauenhauer, left, and Amie Lewis, right, received Honorable Mention for third grade, and Dominic Joseph placed second for sixth grade. They attended a breakfast held at the Dupont PERO building with their parents, and received a certificate plus an award for their artwork, selected out of 428 entries from St. John Parish Schools.
