LAPLACE — St. Joan of Arc Catholic School presented its annual Living Nativity this month in the church.

Sr. Pier Carla Baronne, F.D.P., organized the event and students from varying grades participated in the reenactment. The event’s choir was composed of first and second grade students.

After the Christmas story was reenacted, students representing countries from around the world processed to the manger to present gifts from their countries.

It ended with the singing of “Happy Birthday” to Baby Jesus as a cake was presented.
