Train hits dump truck in St. Charles Parish

On Tuesday, February 22nd 2022, just before 7 a.m. the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to the report of a crash involving a train and a dump truck on Riverbend Dr. St. Rose, LA.
Upon arrival, SCSO deputies learned that the dump truck was not carrying a load, therefore there is no hazmat scene of any kind.
St Charles Sheriff’s Office Traffic Division is working on the crash involving Canadian National Railroad. Almedia Rd and Riverbend Dr in St Rose will be closed until further notice.
