LAPLACE — St. John the Baptist Parish Registrar of Voters Russell H. Jack Jr. announced the following locations will become emergency temporary polling places for the upcoming election.

Polls will be open on the day of the Open Primary Election, Saturday, November 13, from 7 a.m. to 8 p.m.

Precinct 01/03 has moved from Wallace Fire Station to the St. John Parish Courthouse, 2393 Hwy. 18, Edgard, LA 70084.

Precincts 01/04, 05/01 and 05/07 have moved from John L. Ory Elementary School to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Precinct 01/05 has moved from St. John Parish Government Complex to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Precincts 02/01 and 02/02 have moved from Garyville Magnet School to River Parishes Community College, 181 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Precincts 02/03 and 02/04 have moved from St. Peter’s School/Lacour Center to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084

Precinct 03/01 has moved from the Parish Health Unit to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 7008.

Precinct 03/02 has moved from Firth Ward Elementary School to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084

Precincts 03/04, 04/01, 04/02, 04/03 and 05/08 have moved from East St. John High School to River Parishes Community College, 181 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Precincts 04/14, 07/02, 07/03, 07/05, and 07/07 have moved from LaPlace Elementary School to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Precinct 05/04 has moved from St. John the Baptist Parish Library to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Precincts 06/01, 06/03 and 06/04 have moved from the LaPlace Courthouse/Arcuri Center to REGALA Gymnasium, 200 REGALA Park Rd., Reserve, LA 70084.

Early voting for the 2021 Fall Election will be held in St. John the Baptist Parish October 30 through November 6, with the exception of Sunday, October 31.Hours are 8:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., and identification with parish address is required. Early voting will take place at the following locations in St. John Parish:

East Bank Registrar of Voters – 1811 W. Airline Highway in LaPlace

West Bank Registrar of Voters – 2393 Highway 18 in Edgard

The last day to register through the Geaux Vote Online Registration is Saturday, October 23. Additional information, including sample ballots, can be found at voterportal.sos.la.gov
