BATON ROUGE – Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group Hematology and Oncology Associates welcomes Dr. Rachel Clark to its experienced team. Specializing in the development and growth of Comprehensive Sickle Cell Disease Centers, Dr. Clark has devoted her career to ensuring sickle cell disease patients have timely access to care, especially those patients living in Louisiana’s traditionally underserved communities.
Her office is located at Our Lady of the Lake Physician Group Hematology and Oncology Associates at 4950 Essen Lane, Suite 500 in Baton Rouge. To schedule an appointment, call (225) 765-6565 or visit our website.
Dr. Clark earned her Bachelor’s Degree in Biology from Xavier University of Louisiana and her Medical Degree from Morehouse School of Medicine. She completed her residency training in the combined Internal Medicine and Pediatrics Residency Program at Tulane University School of Medicine followed by her Adult Hematology/Medical Oncology Fellowship.
Dr. Clark was exposed to the medical field following a life-threatening neck fracture when she was three years old. She made a full recovery and discovered a passion for medicine and helping others. She is excited to lend her experience and expertise toward serving patients across our community.
During her free time, Dr. Clark enjoys cheering on the New Orleans Saints, learning history, trying new foods, and having fun out on the water.
