HAHNVILLE – The St. Charles Parish Department of Public Works wants to remind residents Spillway Road remains closed to all vehicles for roadway reconstruction. Vehicles should detour to US-61 (Airline Highway) until further notice.

During this time, contractors will add cement to the base, which needs 72 hours to cure. Following the curing process, they will install the new asphalt roadway surface.

Once this is completed, the roadway will be open to traffic.
