LAPLACE — Ice and MRE distributions will be held throughout St. John the Baptist Parish on Tuesday, Sept. 7.

A drive-thru ice distribution will begin at 9:30 a.m. and continue until supplies run out at the Arcuri Center, located at 1020 Cambridge Drive in LaPlace. The ice distribution is sponsored by Mayor Sharon Broome.

A drive-thru MRE distribution will be held from noon until supplies run out at the following locations:

– New Jerusalem Baptist Church, 153 E. 6th St., Edgard (line will enter through East 5th St. and line will exit through East 6th St.)

– Greater Woodville Baptist Church, 133 West 9th St., Wallace

– New Rescue Missionary Baptist Church, 361 E. 14th St., Reserve

– St. Mark Baptist Church, 132 Marquez St., Garyville

– Destiny Christian Center, 604 Main St. LaPlace
