ST. JAMES PARISH – The right lane is closed on US 61 SB approximately 1 mile north of LA 3274 to LA 3274. The left lane is open to vehicular traffic; however, drivers should be cautions of standing water on portions of the roadway.

Please never attempt to drive through high water, even it appears to be shallow. Also, remember to never drive around ‘road closed’ barricades at any time for any reason. DOTD will advise when the water has receded and the roadway has been reopened.
