St. Joan of Arc Catholic School fourth grade classes recently received a visit from Tanya Cenac, Missionary Childhood Association director, who shared interesting, and sometimes, shocking information.

Students participated in group activities to promote teamwork.

Each student learned how he/she is a missionary to those encountered each day.

GARDEN

Second grade students care for and develop a butterfly garden planted by students years ago.

The students water the plants, pull the weeds and plant new plants and seeds in the garden outside their classroom windows throughout the year.

They enjoy watching for butterflies now and are anxiously awaiting spring, when they are hoping to watch the progression from caterpillar to butterfly.

ROLLER COASTER

As part of a brain break in computer class, the sixth grade students took a virtual ride on a roller coaster through GoNoodle.
