1976- Adam Jacob, grandfather of Marie E. Jacob Vicknair, of Reserve, was one of a great many residents of St. John the Baptist Parish who annually produced that tasty pork product, audouille. Mr. Jacob was so proud of his accomplishment, that he posed with several of his audouilles, and this photograph is proof that the making of audouille is nothing new.
