RESERVE — After being closed for over a year due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the St. John Parish Council on Aging senior centers in Reserve and Edgard officially opened doors again last week, to the delight of clients.
Many clients arrived with big smiles as Sheriff Mike Tregre and few of his officers had the pleasure of welcoming back residents. Sheriff Tregre and officers Ingrid Perrilloux, Claudia Weston and Rick Colas also handed out SJSO fans and bottles of hand sanitizer to clients. As life somewhat returns to normal, the St. John Council on Aging is excited to once again plan activities for clients. The St. John Sheriff’s Office hopes to sponsor its annual Christmas bingo this year for the senior citizens.
