SCSO investigate body found in Mississippi River

On June 12, 2021 just before 6 p.m. the St. Charles Parish Sheriff’s Office responded to a call for service related to a body floating in the Mississippi River in St. Rose.
The S.C.S.O. Marine Division, Criminal Investigation, Patrol, and the Crime Scene Division responded and recovered a deceased male subject.
The subject was clad in a blue colored shirt with a t-shirt underneath, and black colored pants. He appeared to have been possibly in the River for a couple of days.
