River Region Chamber of Commerce hosts Cornhole Tournament

RESERVE—The River Region Chamber of Commerce will be hosting a Cornhole Tournament from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m. on Saturday, May 29 at REGALA Gym at 200 REGALA Park Rd in Reserve. Registration starts at 9 a.m. The cost is $50 for a two-person team or $20 per person for a blind draw. Prizes that are available are Advance Awards with first place at $500, second place $300 and third place $200. Social awards will also be given, first place $300, second $200 and third $100. Cornhole is a lawn game in which players take turns throwing 16 ounce bags of corn kernels at a raised platform with a hole in the far end. A bag in the hole scores three points, while one on the board scores one point.
