Update: Personnel on-site have given the all-clear and reopened the road. The affected area has been secured and clean-up will take place in the morning (Friday).

Hahnville, LA – The St. Charles Parish Department of Homeland Security and Emergency Operations Center was notified of a hazmat incident requiring the closure of Paul Mallard Road between Canal Rd and Hackberry Rd. Traffic in the area is being diverted and the strip mall on the Corner of Canal Rd and Paul Mallard Rd has been evacuated. No additional protective measures are required at this time.
