LAPLACE — What a joyous celebration it was as Victorious Family Life Worship Center celebrated the sixth year Founders Day honoring Apostle Renita Graber and Ambassador Winston Graber.
Apostle Renita Graber leads the charge in rallying the church that she shepherds (outside of the four walls) into the community. Victorious Life Family Worship Center is a church on the move and a vital part of LaPlace and surrounding communities.
Relentless in her pursuit of a God given vision so big that only He could make happen so fast, Apostle Renita Graber and the Victorious Life Family transformed the dilapidated Airline Athletic Center buildings at 8896 Richmond Dr. LaPlace, Louisiana into a beautiful thriving church campus including multiple buildings, a swimming pool and basketball court.
The heart and mission of this church shines so bright as they seek to show the love of Christ that in 2020 alone, the church’s reach met the needs of community almost every month while winning souls for the kingdom.
In Summer 2020 VLFWC held a camp where parents brought kids for eight weeks to a safe, educational, recreational, holistic environment while they tried to get back to work during the pandemic.
The next month, FREE hot food was served to the LaPlace community and extended to the Houma area for over 6 weeks.
Continuing its regional outreach, the church held a outdoor revival in Shiloh/Amite Louisiana where more than 26 souls were saved and baptized on the spot, fulfilling the great commission by making disciples of men.
Food, clothing and monetary gifts, as well as transportation from New Orleans to worship service was provided for the victims of Hurricane Laura who were displaced to this area.
Then VLFWC coordinated relief efforts including gifts from church members, other ministries and community members and pulled a trailer load of goods to Lake Charles and distributed hot food to hurricane victims.
A 1,000 Toy Give Away made Christmas bright for so many in the LaPlace and Thibodeaux area because of the coordinated effort of Victorious Life FWC.
These are just highlights of some of what God has called and ordained Victorious Life FWC to do in our community. So as the members celebrated 6yrs of the church’s existence they also celebrated the Ministry’s founders for not only leading and feeding their souls spiritually inside of the campus at 8896 Richmond Dr. where the worship service is always electrified and God is always glorified but they honored them for their sacrifice and service to the people of God and this community.
