St. John the Baptist – Currently, the Parish is experiencing widespread water outages due to unusually high consumption coupled with numerous leaks associated with the recent weather event.
We are urging residents to conserve water by not using water for non-emergencies such as running dishwashers and washing clothes.
Additionally, residents do not need to leave faucets running to prevent from freezing.
Anyone that observes water main breaks (water spilling into the street or shooting up in the air) is asked to report it to the Utilities Department at 985-651-6800 during normal business hours and to 911 after hours.
A Boil Water Advisory is in effect for Reserve, Garyville, Mt. Airy, Edgard, Lucy & Wallace.
Thank you for your patience.
