St. James Sheriff’s Office seeking information regarding Vacherie shooting on Sunday

At about 7:45 p.m. on Sunday, February 7, the St. James Sheriff’s Office received calls in reference to shots fired on Old Vacherie Street, in Vacherie. Deputies arrived and discovered several vehicles were shot.
The Sheriff’s Office received information that a dark colored Ford Expedition may be involved in the shooting.
The Sheriff’s Office is asking that anyone with information please contact our office at 225-562-2200 and ask to speak to a Detective. Also anonymous tips can also be submitted through Nixle.
